Transnational cluster’s initiative
Last Thursday, March the 12th, in the Scandic Hotel in Wrocław, took place the first, meeting associated with common, transnational cluster’s initiative. The originator was Biosaxony Cluster form Dresden, our partner. Their representative was Dr Madlen Schiller. Second partner to participate in the proposed project is ICT and Multimedia Cluster from Lower Silesia, represented by Mr. Marcin Warzocha and Mrs. Sylwia Antoszczak from Enterprise Development Incubator of Ruda Śląska.
Our Cluster was represented by chairman Bartosz Hajncz, vice-chairman Piotr Polański and ladies Iwona Wójcik and Ilona Trześniewska. The aim of the meeting was to plan and discuss the possibilities of mutual actions within transnational cluster’s initiative. Envisaged activities will aim to create instruments of financial support for the members of our Clusters – SMBs. To the project, were invited clusters from IT, LifeSciences, MedTech and Biotech sectors, from several European countries – i.a. Poland, Germany, Italy, Belgium and Romania.
It should be mentioned that this meeting wouldn’t take place unless the trip of our representatives to “Cluster To Cluster Conference And Matchmaking – Towards New Horizons” – that took place on September 18-19, 2014 in Berlin. We informed about this event earlier.
With heads full of ideas and willingness to work, we get ready for the forthcoming meeting – this time to detail and systematize prepared ideas of our Cluster. About the results of subsequent meetings, we will inform up to date.
